Brenna's Cherry Breakfast Nook

This kitchen had a perfect spot for a breakfast nook, but a tight footprint and awkward angles meant standard tables wouldn’t fit. To maximize space, I built custom benches featuring a hidden drawer and deep storage compartments beneath the seats. The classic oval table brings a vintage-inspired charm that matches the 1940s room, designed to comfortably crowd in people for daily meals. Finally, I added a matching side shelf that secures directly to the fridge with high-strength magnets.

Shaun's Painted Built-In

I designed this built-in to fit perfectly into a recessed wall alcove, transforming an underutilized space into the centerpiece of the room. The stepped layout features shallow upper shelving for books, a beautiful solid hardwood counter, and a full-depth lower cabinet base. I packed the bottom with multiple drawers and premium soft-close hardware, creating a massive amount of easily accessible storage.

White Oak Vanity Set

I built this matching set of white oak vanities—one double-sink and one single—for a custom new-home build. To optimize the layout of each bathroom, I sized both pieces precisely to maximize the usable counter space and floor footprint. I handmade the custom integrated drawer pulls from matching solid white oak to keep the lines clean and minimalist. Finally, I outfitted the entire set with premium soft-close hardware to ensure everyday durability.

Black Walnut Living Room Trio

I built this matching mid-century modern furniture set using solid black walnut for my own home. The project includes a tall freestanding bookshelf, a classic coffee table, and a long, low console table designed to hug the back of our sofa. I used traditional joinery throughout the build and applied a durable matte finish to highlight the wood's rich, natural grain. Creating these pieces from scratch allowed me to customize the heights and lengths to fit our home's exact layout.

Painted Dining Room Buffet & Plant Stand

I built this massive, 14-foot custom buffet to span the entire length of the client's dining room wall, combining deep storage drawers with elegant glass-front display cabinets. To warm up the painted cabinetry, I topped the entire length with a hand-finished solid hardwood counter. I also crafted a matching minimalist plant stand with the premium wood cutoffs left over from the countertop build. Anne's Entryway Mudroom Built-In

I engineered this custom mudroom built-in to eliminate entryway clutter as the client didn’t want all of their shoes, coats, and jackets visible. To make the unit feel native to the house, I matched the look and crown molding details to the home's existing architecture. I built deep storage drawers into the base bench and used a rich, contrasting hardwood for the seating surface. I also added custom touches like a "Roomba parking dock" with an active outlet in the bottom of the side cabinet.

Guest Room Canarywood Suite

For our guest room, I built this California King bedroom set—complete with a matching dresser and two bedside tables—using a striking combination of solid ash and live-edge Canarywood slabs. To showcase the raw beauty of the wood, I carefully bookmatched the live-edge slabs for the headboard and stabilized a natural split using hand-cut decorative butterfly keys. Finally, credit to my wife for picking the perfect bedding colors to pull the whole room together.

Artisan Boards & Serving Trays

I handcrafted these premium end-grain cutting boards and serving trays using durable, tight-grained hardwoods. The end-grain blocks are arranged to create a striking mosaic surface. Each peace is sanded smooth and sealed with a food-safe finish to hold up with daily use.
